Thinking of a colour revamp now summer is over?

My name is Emma and I am a Wella Master Colour Expert at KH Hair in Ashby and a member of the KH Hair Colour Team.

We have recently been researching the hottest trends for this autumn/winter which I’d love to share with you.

Blonde
It’s out with white/sliver blonde and in with warm, honey rich tones. Warm up your summer blonde with some honey lowlights and add a rich gloss all over to give that luxury autumnal feel.

Brunette
Get the winter blonde look the Duchess of Cambridge is sporting at the moment. Have some warm highlights through a brunette base to give it multiple golden dimensions. A top tip is to keep the highlights away from the parting so you don’t have the commitment of having to re-colour every six to eight weeks.

Mousey brown/Dark blonde
Think gingerbread tones for a natural warm look on mid to mousey brown blonde hair. This can be achieved with soft warm high and lowlights scattered  through the hair, placing highlights towards the face for a rich subtle frame.

Red/Auburn
Talk to your stylist about having flecks of gold and chocolate brown put through your hair to get that soft autumn glow. Or choose a beautiful semi-permanent colour to give a glossy soft rich shine for autumn.

Ombre
Still a big trend for autumn/winter 2019 but with an emphasis on soft – with cool copper tones being put through the ends of a brunette base or a caramel blonde being applied to a dark blonde base.

Whatever you choose, keep up the maintenance at home using a shampoo and conditioner especially for coloured hair to help keep those rich luxurious tones strong throughout the coming months.
