Hello my name is Hayley. I have been qualified for 4 years and have been working at KH Hair for 6 years.

I first came to KH Hair on work experience; whilst at school, which I really enjoyed. It made me decide that I wanted to become a hairdresser when I left school. I started off as the Saturday girl progressing to the apprenticeship.

As a first year junior I won First year junior of the year award at the annual KH Hair Ball. I qualified three months earlier than the qualifying deadline. I was the first person with in the KH Hair group to do this. I then continued my training after being kept on at the Ilkeston salon. As a third year I entered a competition were each third year had to cut and blow dry a client’s hair. Within this is competition I won second place.

I have achieved NVQ levels 2 & 3 in team leading and I am in the process of completing the coveted Wella Master Colour Programme.

The best thing I love to do in hairdressing is creating something new and learning more hairdressing skills.
