Here comes the sun…

Spring has sprung, the days are getting longer, and there is definitely a hint of summer in the air.

When the long-awaited summer finally does arrive, it can be all too easy to get caught up in the warmth of the sun and forget to adequately protect your hair. Sun, chlorine, salt water – all the best bits of summer – can really take their toll on your hair and turn it into a colour-faded, dried out mess.

We asked KH Hair Creative Team member, Martin Quenault, for his favourite in-salon products to help get your hair hydrated, shiny and in tip-top condition ready for those long hazy days ahead.

Sebastian Whipped Crème is one of my favourite summer products and perfect if you are leaving your hair to dry naturally. Simply scrunch into damp hair and leave to dry. This will encourage wave and movement, whilst providing a deep moisturising treatment. Try twisting your hair round your fingers while applying, to give a more defined curl result.

Wella System Professional Colour Save Mask

These fabulous treatment masks can be applied in the salon, or you can use them at home. They will protect your colour throughout the summer months, deeply conditioning your hair and adding moisture. Perfect for vibrant colours.
